What is the Remove Whitespace?
This tool removes whitespace that copying and pasting tends to introduce: doubled spaces, stray tabs, trailing spaces at end of line, and runs of empty lines. It leaves the words untouched, so the text stays readable but stops carrying invisible formatting from wherever it came from.

Why does pasted text have invisible extra spaces?
